The story is about the strange courtship of a successful executive in life called Kou and a mysterious woman called Nino who lives under a bridge. It all begins when Kou almost drowns in a river but is saved by Nino. For saving his life, Kou fulfills Nino's desire to have a boyfriend. Thus, Kou becomes her boyfriend, but has to live with her under the bridge...

Should have listened to my friend earlier, just watched Ep 1 and it was GLORIOUS.
Good ol' SHAFT comedy with Johnny D... err. Kamiya Hiroshi and Maaya Sakamoto on the leading roles, Shinbo leading the boat, what could go wrong?
SHAFT never fails to deliver, thank the anime gods we still have them in these dark times for the industry.

Only one I haven't seen is Pani Poni.

But this anime just stands out. Maybe because its in midst of the heat of the moment, since its currently airing.

You should watch the other ones, shaft animes are random as hell, even the Negima one shaft made was better, IMO, than the original anime which actually followed the series, i mean seriously, the one they made literally revolved around chupacabras. Although thier most popular work would probably be Sayanora Zetsubo Sensei.

Anyways, I've seen comments on other forums saying the series is starting to get bad. I believe Nutbladder (subbing group) said they will drop it if next episode was as bad.. I haven't watched 9 yet but I'll get to it later.
