I cant seem to get the hang of how to kill him big fella
I keep gettin jumped and squished on by his foward lunge and his slide attack
Can anyone give me an idea of what would work for soloing this guy?:what:

Stay in front of him, within close or moderate distance. That way, he will mainly uses his left paw swipe which is the most easily dodge-able attack.

LLLR works for me in terms of damaging him. If you need to drink a potion, drink when he is roaring.

Stand a fair distance away from it.
When it stomps the ground, it'd do a lunge. Avoid it and do LLR/LLLR.
When it raises it's arm, it'd do 2x lunges.
When it roars, move to it's ass. Most of the time it'd do 3x lunges.

Promblem is when i dodge the lunge
I go do the llr
and he suddely turns and hits me
not even a lunge
Its like
Dodge - LLR- try to dodge but he just turns and hits me

Note that you can throw hits at air to charge up beforehand.

How close should i really be
If am too close
I cant react with slip dash in time
Or should i just run around him

Don't stay to his sides, at least. He has a quick and powerful side swipe. x.x

How close you want to be to the polar bear depends on how fast you can react, dodge, and pull off Smashes from air attacking.

Yeah, kind of.

I wish I can record, but my FPS takes a huge hit when recording in Vindictus.

How to not die against White Tyrant. For All Classes!

10 Things you should know!

1. Keep a good distance in front of him.
2. If he hugs the floor he will leap forward quickly dodge left.
3. If he smashes the floor with one hand he will slash with a claw. Depending on your position it usually best to dodge right, if you are close. If you are medium range, it's best to walk or run or dash backwards.
4. When the White Tyrant is low HP he will get up on his two feet and do a Warcry.
5. When the White Tyrant Warcry's he will either spin around three times or continue doing the normal attacks.
6. When the White Tyrant Warcry's it's best to run behind him and do damage but not to close that you will get cleaved by his triple spin.
7. It is a good idea to always stay on his right side, as for your character you would want to lean left more.
8. When you attack from the sides, there is a high chance he will do a rotating cleave.
9. Try not to attack him much on the side when you are solo'ing, this will usually leave you into pieces.
10. Play defensive at first to learn his attacks and how many hits you can land in between his attacks, then you can play more aggressive.
Pretty nice guide, IMO

Yeah, but the description has the fundamentals of defeating the polar bear.
Also, it demonstrates how to make use of the gaps between it's attacks.
