View Full Version : Turn off blood?

I want to play Vindictus, but my parents wouldn't be all that happy (and then they would make me quit), because of blood. My parents are kinda restrictive in that sense.

Is there a way to turn it off? Or possibly a mod or something to make it invisible? I don't want to spend two hours downloading and installing the game only to find out I can't really play it because of my parents.

If you set graphics to the lowest possible, there's less blood/just looks like tar :v

If the account is under 18, there is no blood.

Only looks like tar under 18.

It's more red over 18.
But, it does minimize it.

A lot blood is from having the decals setting on also so make sure that's off. That's what paints blood on the enemies after each hit.

Another way to tell if blood is on/visible look at the Evil cores. When you go and pick an item from it if the stuff falls from your hand and stays on the floor then you can see blood.

Black stuffs is far from being blood.

IMO if you're too young to play Vindictus, then please, by all means, stick with Mabinogi. You are not missing out much and besides, there's a reason why they had an age limit for games like this.

Is there a way to force the game to load the 15+ settings? My account has my real age, I'm just wondering if you can.

I know that. I was just saying if you see it drop from your hand and stay on the floor then your likely to see blood.

Maybe you could tell this to Nexon, y'know? Submit it as an idea: The option to turn off blood.
They might just do it, but if they don't then I dunno.
My parents aren't like that. I can play pretty much ANY game no matter how gory if its rated Teen or under.
