I'm bored. Should I play Maplestory again? If I do, I'm buying NX. If I buy NX, I can't save up for nice things.

The above post is a good option (though I'd choose a low-rate private server, the official server is bad imo, probably the only game where I prefer private servers over the official.)
Or play some single-player while you wait for New Vegas :3 plenty of good stuff, even if you look at freeware games, like Elona, or Daggerfall =D

I wondering if I should I play Mabinogi. I came here because of Vindictus but reading through the Mabinogi boards has got me interested.

Why not.
Even if you don't intend to grind levels or dungeons in Mabi there are tons of things you can do. The only limitation is your boredom.
But maple...unfortunately all I see to it are quests and level grinding and monster hacking.

Lol, you better believe I'm going to play Vindicitus I LOVE IT! I'm talking about along with Vindictus. Also we have a week break from Vindictus now. I don't know though. I downloaded Mabi and messed around with character creation and realized I didn't like any of the basic settings so if I started I'd buy a premium character card...probably an Elf because from what I can tell they are good at magic and ranged and they are pretty. I like the art style and from watching videos I can already tell it's pretty cool. I think really I'd be more interested in doing life skills like fishing and whatnot than combat. I think that sets you up for being better in combat later anyway right?

Just create an elf card with the premium settings, then buy a human basic card. 1st character on the account gets premium looks free.
This way you get the best value. With the human basic card, you can unlock the elf and giant assistant cards (but with basic looks). This means four characters for the minimal Nx amount to spend.
Life skills are not too bad, you can also do farming for profit with a lot of accounts if you have a lot of time to burn.
Ahh...I see. Thank you. Now I'll just have to decide on a server.

Wait until Mabinogi gets G12 in a week or so. The population activity will be up for a while once that new content is out.
Mabinogi's money-maker is NX and combat, but you can enjoy the game doing other things like Life skills and what not.
Also, I hook people into Mabinogi with the EU teaser.
