Nah, not all of them have horrible stats, Tauros has good stats for example. Togekiss is actually used a lot in competitive play so it's not really that bad... and then there's Blissey, who everyone hates but is used a lot...

I don't see why Touhou has such a cult following, but then again I've only played one game. It was kinda fun but I couldn't get very far because it's a Japanese shooter, which are impossible to beat in nature. The music was epic though. Even Ronald McDonald thinks so.
