Ever since we unveiled them at E3, the signature red hoods based on the Gnoll Chieftain have been a huge hit with all of our fans. We had near-riots that erupted during our E3 giveaways and had huge crowds fill up an entire corner of the San Diego Convention Center during our raffles at Comic-Con. These furry red hoods have been the talk of the industry as one of the coolest and most unique swag items ever given away to promote a game.
Because we thought the real-life hoods were simply the coolest thing around, we decided to have our developers at devCat take the phenomenon one step further: take them into the world of Vindictus to celebrate of the launch of the Vindictus Open Beta! For a limited time during our Open Beta, you’ll have a chance to score an in-game Gnoll Chieftain Hood for your character. Even better, these hoods never expire! Once you’ve gotten your virtual hands on one, your character can deck themselves out in the hood for the life of the game, showing that you were a part of the Open Beta.
So, how do you get one?
• Log in to the Open Beta
• Head over to the Traveler’s Shop and speak with Kirstie.
• She’ll give you a special quest to bring her some items which will only be found during the Open Beta.
• Once you’ve completed the quest, you will receive a Gnoll Chieftain Hood for your character and a special title: “Swag Owner.”
We’ve also got a special gift for those fans who participated in our Closed Beta. The characters they log into during the Open Beta with will receive a special “Early Bird” title. Talk about bragging rights!
