New Shield for Boat 3...

I was curious, where do I get a new improved shield over spiked shield on boat 3? I noticed crafting wise there are no new options yet I see people running with the new shield with no clue just where it comes from.

I think you get one after completing a quest chain involving Trampled Plains.

I'm nto a Fiona though, so I'm not sure.

You do infact get one, from the Shayla quest line.

Here's a bunch of stuff I took off the official forums that might be useful to someone...


The bone collector -> Hand bone collector [level 30] -> FACKING FLOWERS!

You do a quest from Shayla about a Song, and a quest from the old man in the inn for Memories.

Throughout the quest, you should get weeds, notes, flowers, rings, and a couple of other things.

You get it once you hit 30.

You get the note from Trampled Plains, I believe.

In order to access the plains, you have to complete the old man's quests.

You have to do Revenge twice. Once for the weed and once for the flower.

Turn in quest with weeds and you'll need dry ice. Go to prepare for counterattack and get it. You will then unlock Trampled Plains.

Finally, you will get the note and a ring to finish up quest in whole. Use the note + ring (Together first) and turn it in, then you will keep the note and go to Shayla and turn in quest and boom you'll end up with some Dialogue and finishing finally to get Eagle Heart!

It has nothing to do with the hand bone collector. I have done the first, but I haven't done the bione collector quest and I just completed the shield quest.

I think the quest becomes available as soon as you hit 30. Shayla will send you to get some flowers in the Revenge battle. At the same time a quest opens in the Inn with the same battle.

It's a longish series, and will require you to do the Trampled Plains battle several times. 3-4 times. And I'll warn you now if you don't know, it's NOT an easy battle. You WILL need a group to do it, unless you want to use a few goddesses.

You can get the quest at level 30, and you don't need to complete the bone collector quests.
