So, that moron died, (Ellis) AND NOW I CAN'T CLEAR THIS QUEST, SERIOUSLY? No warning? No, Please finish this before moving on? I'm jipped out of 10 str, 7 agility, and 4 will for NO good reason but piss-poor programming? D:

Anyone know if he like, gets revived, or theres a loophole for this?

So he started the "Industrial Spy" quest thingy, and he has to turn in his required quest materials to (Ellis).

But (Ellis) dies, and he cannot turn it in anymore.

Is he stuck?

Think I sort of understand what's going on.
I'd assume Devcat would allow you to turn the quest in to someone else, but honestly I didn't have a problem with it due to the fact I finished everything before I started Boat 3.

He gets revived in boat 52. Or something, they can't just leave it open ended like that.

No you're not, I had the same thing with my spears quest. I killed all 15 wisps and Marrec wouldn't give me the book. So I completely closed down the client and restarted it. Then talked to Marrec again and I got my quest finished up. I don't know if that'll work for you, but it helped me. Worth a try.

Except that Ellis goes boom here, so not the same thing. Since there's no way to talk to him.

Well, unless Ellis shows up again in the future, I don't think that quest is getting completed.
Unless they designate an alternate person for the quest(Which I guess they won't)

The most logical thing or chance I can imagine is, Nexon auto completes it if I whine enough via forums and tickets, He gets revived, or theres a new Cadet whatyamacallit.
QQ 10 str and 7 agility.......

I'll go ticket I guess... Someone put up a warning about that if you can, also, lol @ search results for this page...

I find him pretty annoying, really. Didn't like how he screws about and get such a huge cutscene.

I think his problem is completely different from yours, since your npc is still there while ellie completely disappeared. Restarting the client won't make ellie appear.
