Difficulty Level, Oaths and Mining

Does the difficulty level or oaths affect the rate for mining using mine bombs?

Answer should be no.
Only difference is you get double the bombs on normal.

Despite dozens upon dozens of runs using mine bombs, there's still one mission I haven't gotten the 2 coppers in for the BP. </3

A little update on this thread, it seems like doing blood prince on normal with 2 or less oath yelds more ore and better ore. Some tests might help, but so far max I´ve got with hard and season of macha was 3 per rock while normal with 2- I got up to five.

Interesting, I'll try it and see, usually when I go mining I just randomly go Normal or Hard with no oath. On average I get 3-4 ores per node. I'll try it with the Normal with less than 2 oath.

I have been trying to get the copper ore in the hoarfrost missions, I seem to have no luck getting them with no oath on but when I throw oaths on I seem to get them..

There's no difference. I've done BP runs with and without oaths, and there are times I get 3 per node, and other times I get 5, even when I do the same oath, so that doesn't affect it. The same goes for the copper ore missions. I thought that doing it on hard mode on the highest exp oath would help. It did not, since I still had to do a ton of runs before I got my copper. And then on my alts, I got it in 2 runs, while just trying to get the rest of the AP for that battle.

AFAIK, the only thing item-wise affected by difficulty is the Evil Core drops. Other than that, it's all the same. Oaths never had any effect on item drops either to my knowledge.

However, the Red Spiders and jellies in the first room will have a better chance of dropping items when you do Hard Mode. Since Red Spider Webs are disturbingly rare I just do Hard.

None, the only difference is that you can carry different amount of mine bombs in normal and hard mode
