the cat is trying to find out if it's the 80 GB with partial Ps2 emulation and 4 usb ports or the crap one with no emulation and 2 usb ports

Then again, the fat ps3 models users 2x more electricity than PS3 slims and have non modding friendly hardware, even to just change the hard drive.

Will these be a reasonable deal even if it's the crap ps3?

Oh and it's likely one of the games is Metal Gear Solid 4 or Killzone 2

Probably, if the games are good. New PS3 sells for around $300 last I checked. But it all depends on if the games are good.
