View Full Version : Do you get anything good for completing the Halloween Candy event?

I've been using the Candy to heal myself in dungeons more than I've been turning it in (works good for No Potions Oaths) but I was wondering if you got anything decent for completing the quest line. I heard the final reward was some kind of headgear?

Yeah, a pair of horns. You also get two titles total, for a total of 35 candy.

I think it's worth it since the horns don't expire. I would have turned the candy in towards the end of the event time though. After you turn in the candy for the horns you can't get candy from the NPCs in town. :cryno:

Hmm, but the titles and headgear don't have any stat bonuses, right? I admit it, I'm a stat whore, don't go much for looks most of the time :)

Event headgears are only good if it isn't reused later on, since that would raise the price in the future.

It should also be mentioned that the devil horns cannot be traded, so its price will never increase in the future =P

kinda disappointed with the headband, because now it's eating an inventory slot. I'll probably toss it once halloween is over.

And now that I don't need candy anymore, and it's also untradeable, it needs to stop dropping in dungeons! Ditto for Old Leather.

Candy also heals 500 HP, so it's good to have for extra pots per instance. Also you can use them for oaths where you can't use pots. =D

Yeah, I'm fine with candy dropping, as it's useful, but he brings up a good point for the old leather. I've had to NPC sell several stacks of 100 old leathers just because of the inventory space. It doesn't even sell for anything.
