View Full Version : Is there a point having more than 1 AP button to allocate AP?

So uh yeah, 3 buttons in the skills window:

+1 AP
+10 AP
+Max AP

Really, is there a point to having more than one if we're only allowed to upgrade only one skill's rank at a given time? I don't really see a purpose in having the +1 AP and +10 AP buttons. Will we be able to allocate into multiple skills at a time w/o committing to it in the future? I would like to know.

Yeah. Later we get Paladin/DK, in which we need 10AP to activate. See?

You use the paladin skill mid-battle. See?
To OP: I also was wondering about it and the extra buttons are indeed useless

Ok, guess I'll explain further. Since Paladin/DK uses 10AP, you'll have to have it prepared before you go in. However, if you leave too much AP in the stash, you might end up hitting the cap and losing out on some AP. Therefore, the buttons "+1, +10, +Max" are for making sure you have just enough AP on hand in case you want to use Palading/DK.

This probably won't happen once the AP capped is raised from like 100->1000(?)

Yeah, a +10 button is kinda small for that. Which might mean they would add larger value buttons.

Edit: Sorry, forgot the other meaning. You know, they're going to raise skill caps eventually. Which means expensive skills. Like a couple hundred AP for a rank(and who knows when it gets to r5 and higher)

Those buttons are for people who like having nice round numbers which are multiples of 5s! Yay! FIVES
