I've never had the premium service so I really dont know, and I feel I'm tempted to ask you guys.. the personal shops.. how does it work? is it only for those who have the premium service or it works for the beginner service as well? TY! Hopefully this hasnt been asked before.

Premium service, you buy a bag, set up a shop, then you can edit the price in the items in your bag. You have to buy license to the place your trying to set up shop, limit for a shop is 2M I think.

It works for the beginner service as well. That's actually one of the ways people without premium service on their main account sell stuff.

You buy a license, and then the money you make from what you sell goes onto the license. When you put the license in your bank, all the money that was on it goes into your bank. It costs a small percentage, as well.

Careful not to change channels with a shop open though, it'll go *POOF!*

2.25m is total but after fees that the bank takes out when u deposit, you can get about 2m i think.

A good thing to do is have a herb pet watch the store and regen mana after you pick it dry ... it doesnt use up summon time while its guarding store and u can sell the herbs! Try not to go afk outside of dun by your store mat bc people will try to drag aggro monsters to kill people. I saw an assistant guild leader trying to do it w/ a white spider ... i asked him what he was doing ... he said "tryin to kill the noobs" ... i called him the noob bc white spiders wont aggro on their own w/o provocation ... he then called me a noob bc of my 800~ cp ... some people just dont get it ...

you can always play dead with ur vendor to avoid mishaps like this (should they be intelligent enough to drag a mob which auto aggros)

i totally agree - isn't it funny that there are so many people not playing dead and afk outside of dun on ch4 mari? one grouchy bear would tear things up!

I've learnt my lesson when I once left shop overnight and my character was found dead.
From then on, I made and used an elf character for shop instead since elves learn play dead automatically when character is created.

Thanks for telling me about the switching channels, just wondering.. exiting the game would close my store? I must close my store before exiting the client? I hired one of those brownies (I think thats what they're called lol)

Houses require tons of Gold to maintain, and IMO they're only worth it in your main, which would need to have Premium, so no go. Easier to make a new character, log in, spend like 37k in a bag and afk with it.

A new character on another account comes with free beginner service automatically.

And it completely makes up for the money because you can overprice things and don't have to re-set up your shop every night, which is extremely annoying.

But if you don't want a house,

Just AFK over night leaving your computer on :3
Or AFK whenever you aren't going to be at you computer

I don't afk at night anymore with my personal shop...

I think personal shops are worth it if there is always going to be demand for what you are selling.

I used to leave it shop at night when I was doing playing instrument and critical hit master training (which are afk activities...for playing instrument it's by the not-so-legit methods or I'll go crazy). I had dual-clients on to do that.

I like a house for common items and items with distinct names.

Enchant scrolls, certain common-place items with special colors and such I like to throw in a personal shop on my 2nd account because it's easier to sell items like that through a personal shop since people like to browse through the shops a lot and it's right in their face to preview and look at.

House is excellent if you find yourself in need of space or you dungeon a lot throughout the day. Random crap enchants I dont need, random items from monsters like daggers/boots/gloves... can all be thrown right into the house and left there to sell. You can advertise during dungeons in a party for stuff and let people know they can go to your house to buy so you don't have to be near a mail box or meet them to handle the transaction.

Recently I've been thinking about putting certain stuff I get a lot of really cheap to attract people to my house so when they go for the cheap item they take a look at my other stuff (anyone ever been to Las Vegas? :) ). Still working out the details on that one, but I think it'll work out.
