Solo'd White Tyrant on my evie with a staff for the 1st time.

Took a few hits here and there due to some minor rubberbanding, and being too close when he backswipes. But I didn't die and took em down with spears and magic arrow and some well timed firebolts.

I've only solo'd him on my Fiona, but if the exp is decent I'll spam solo him on my Evy.

Have never even seen him :( When should I start attempting him on my 36 Evie (Scythe)? I am sure I will die a few times learning his moves, but could use the xp.

From what I recall the XP is like 30k+. The next highest xp is like 16k or there abouts.

Don't bother with him at 36. Solo the White Tyrant's Challenge or Blood Prince, much better exp and gold.

I think I misunderstood the OP. I have killed the regular bear too many times to count, but thought he meant the upgraded version of him (Red tyrant?).

Every day I do or say something that I have to slap myself for, and this looks to be the winner today.

At 36 you get a new instance named Challenge of the White Tyrant (I think thats the name). People call him red, because of the blood on him I think, and he is alot meaner.

It is a mission you get later on the levels. Tyrant's Challenge or something.

"Red Tyrant" is the White Tyrant's Challenge - it's a Battle Quest you get at level 36. Telling you the details would spoil it for you.

But basically he's called the red tyrant because you can make armor from him (white tyrant) and then use his blood to make either lighter (cloth red tyrant) or heavier (heavy red tyrant) armors.

red tyrant should be a lot easier with Evie considering she has that teleport move (i forget the name). so you should be able to escape most of his attacks. red tyrant gives like almost 30k exp per run if you do atleast 1 oath.

Finally decided to try him last nite, and after 2 runs of learning (See dying) his moves, he turns out to be pretty doable. Every run after that, I get hit atleast once, but am able to take him down. Bad thing is, if he hits you in a bad area, and you get knocked down, he tends to stay right on top of you, to finish you off.

its around 50k exp with "4 or fewer" player oath

and yes, it is easier to dodge him, i've soloed him a couple of time
and yes, one small mistakes as evie lead to horrible painful death in red tyrant

after some run, i figure that the best way to solo it is by doing it hard 4 or fewer player oath, it gives 50k exp or so, and it dies faster

(for those who read on nexon forum there's these people debating about how bosses on "HARD" mode has the same health portion as "NORMAL")
well IMO, its not. i do the run on almost the same pace
its almost 18-22 minutes red tyrant with evie on NORMAL
its around 15-18 minutes red tyrant with evie on HARD
both tested with naked, so no additional INT

wow you solo red tyrant on hard faster than on normal? That's pretty darn funny sounding. Guess it means hard is not as hard as normal... when you don't get hit?

exactly , the attack pattern are the same, so if u already master how to dodge and when to attack it, hard is so much better as it's less time consuming

That's the reason I prefer to do hard mode over normal mode in most battles >_> Unless I'm trying to achieve a title that requires something ridiculous like spearing the boss =( It's faster and less stressful on my Fiona's shield xD

I just wish we could get an entire set built like the blood prince boots, so when soloing one mistake might not lead to sudden doom. I know some people wear the BP set anyway, but I don't like gimping my int. Ash robe has 51 int alone XD.

Heavy armor, amazing int, good str, decent agility. I want a blood prince BOOT set.
