Random thought but when friend gave me two fishes out of Ab Nearg I put them in my house and told her that my fish are swimming in my house.

That gave me a thought. Why can't we keep fishes as pets in Mabinogi?

(As I type I'm looking at my fish pet on my table, haha.)

If you had a house, it'd be cool to put them on display, but you couldn't use them as a real pet. :(

I'd actually like that. Or a fish out of water! A little walking fish with a diver's helmet full of water on 8D.

The other alternative is to use zombie carp, ala Dwarf Fortress. Granted, though, it'd be quite a feat to tame a carp, especially a zombie carp, considering all of them are ravenous, murderous creatures that WILL cause your fort to spiral down into death and desperation.


In short, this is a good idea. Let's totally petition Nexon (not gonna work).

My fish would die from lack of water.

Seal? Thats fishy a nough....maybe if it was like an uber fish with legs and a glass bowl over its legs or devices that help it breath air
