It's always snowing. Could be worse. You could have been living in Hawaii and have seen snow. D:

But still around this time, it should be burning hot over here, and it was since the start of April (Not as hot as Eastern Countries though). And now, it just started snowing for no reason. Global Warming much?

Then you should come to Vermont. We haven't had any snow since mid-January, and it's been Spring since early February.

Funny you say that because it wasn't snowing till late December here, which is quite weird.

Yup snowed all day D: Was insanity.
Yesterday it was too hot, I was outside in a t-shirt.
Today I open my door to go to school, look around a little bit, walk back inside and get my winter jacket.

People thought school was going to be closed for 5-10 cm? That's like... Nothing. Where exactly is this?

You'd be surprised at the number of places where practically everything shuts down when there's any sign of snow.

My high school would close at 2~3 inches. Mostly 'cause people aren't 'prepared' for snow, so they just cancel at the lightest flurry.

/looks outside window and sees snow clumps the size of Ping Pong balls falling
Yeaaaa... There's nothing wrong with that, especially if you consider that it's going to be in the 80's this weekend. >.>

@Chiri ~ mine to. One time during the blizzard not too long ago, the school had no delays or cancellations and it was snowing hardcore. Buses got stuck, and some even got into a crash and it took the Principal getting stuck in traffic to cancel school. Uh..... dumb-asses running my school I swear. All the buses were lined up on the side of the road wherever they were and when I got to school (finally) they herded us all in the gym only to send us home 15 minutes later.

It barely snowed at all this year, for me.
We only got about 5 centimeters.. which is absolute nothing.
A year ago I had to trudge to school in about 50 centimeters. We all thought it was going to be canceled, but our schoolboard is a pathetic slave driver.

I envy you guys that have school closed at a sign of snow. It doesn't close here unless there's 3 feet or more. Heck, a couple years ago there was 2-3 feet on the ground and none of the sidewalks were plowed, and this went on for a week without school canceled. All week you'd see kids walking in the streets, but heck, it's Ohio, so why should we get school canceled? It's not like anyone's going to die... ._.
Also, these centimeters are confusing me. Illogical units of measurement pleash D:

Centimeters make more sense than inches.
They're in values of 10, 100, and so on.
Not 12, some other number, and some other number that is hard to calculate and horrible to remember.

I know that's why I was saying "pleash use illogical units of measurement so us odd Americans can understand it." xD; Oh 50 cm = 1.5 feet...

Hm, my high school was in Ohio and they seemed to cancel all the time. And it was weird, because they'd usually cancel ~10min before class started, so everyone was already there, and had to go back into the weather.

I live in Ohio and my school never cancels... and I live by the lake so we get lake effect snow often...

Ugh, one time they canceled at the very last minute. I waited in a freezing blizzard at my bus stop, which is like 15-20Mins away from my home...

It's funny. I got more snow after one night than any other day this year, even after those two blizzards that shutdown the Atlantic Coast.
And of course, it's that wet clumpy snow, so if it was powder like any of the snow Vermont got this winter, then we would probably have over 3 feet. D:
