Post YOUR Good Deeds!

I'm pretty sure I saw a thread like this in a forum somewhere. Maybe it was Guru or Basilmarket or something. Anyways since I didn't really see any thread like this on the forums. I'd like to start one. The basic idea is to share the good deed's that fellow player's gave you , or even the good deed's you did on Mabinogi yourself!

For a first, when I started playing Mabinogi, there was this guy that I kind of looked up to as a player named Zarniku. He helped me with getting title's, finishing quests. He even gave me decent Armour and other items that really helped me alot. Later in Mabi, I kind of remembered what he did for me, so I gave that Lemonia Moon Armour he gave me to a newbie, and sometimes I like to help people who just started playing. Share the love <3.

I tell noobs that if they skip the noob quests like playing another game like WoW, they will be doomed forever in noobiness. So I command them to depart from me instantly and finish their quests!!!

Geez... truthfully I don't think I've received any good deeds at all in mab...

The most recent good deed I've done was help out a new player with mainstream quests. I spent the afternoon helping her with albey silver when I was supposed to be studying (lol). Then when she was in the final dungeon (I wasn't online when she started) I used the adv feather that I'd had saved in my inventory for months, waiting for the right occasion to use it. (I mean it was back from when there was still adv. play, I never intend to buy one ever again)

Yeah, it's pretty hard to find good deeds these days. But I think Mabi has a really good player community then other games ( Maplestory, Runescape, Maplestory, WoW, Maplestory, etc.). But there are good people out there, just takes time to find them.

I always felt like a noob on maple... it seemed everyone else had godly equips and was above my level.

On Runescape, I was tricked into killing a wizard a few days after starting, and remember fuming as the guy who'd tricked said "noob" as I vanished :(... and nobody talked after a while

But on Mabi, I've met nice people, and things seem more real (Fantasy Life [•]). Also, you can't see other's total lvl, and it's easier to feel like a pro, which has kept me from quitting in frustration. However, there's skill training to frusrate me again n(*cough* WM)

I give most of the 2-handed swords I find to random beginners in Tir Chonail because Shadow Archers keep dropping them :3 All repaired, of course.

- A while back, there was a player struggling at killing some grey wolves south of Tir, so I ran to the store and bought him some armor, and gave him 2 of my 230 Gladii.

Pretty sure he NPC'd them.

- Someone was advertising looking for scarecrow equips and didn't have too much money, so I just gave them 7 scarecrow enchanted items for free.

- Gave some random newbie a 100k check, even though he only asked for 5k.

- Gave another person a 200k check, and told them not to worry about repaying.

When I came back from hiatus, I started a new character on Alexina; and while I was wondering around, I died to a wisp in the path south of Dunbarton. Just as I was about to res in town, someone (whose name I could not remember) walked by and rescued me. I thanked the person and we parted, I continued to walk south toward Bangor. There I attempted the G1 Brown Fomor Barri dungeon twice, both attempts failed however, so I waited a long time for a party. No one ever joined. Later that day, I switched to Ruairi.

I have always kept at least a stack of phoenix feathers in my inventory ever since that day, just in case that I come across someone like that.
A simple feather may not seem much, but it weren't for that person, I would've left the game already.
Never did finish my G1 though, skipped it after getting my revenge in Barri.

lol, the reason I always carry at least 50 feathers at all times is because of the same reason you just posted,

You never know when there will be somebody in need of a revival, and the worst feeling in the world for me is seeing someone in need of help, and I can't do nothing about it :/

I helped a newbie giant getting trans, from the beginning to the end in a weekend, As in, did both par and karu, got him a spot in maiz, and help him get the hang of finding the medals on foot.:awesome:
But through out the week I suffer agonizing headaches from the aftermath and stress of doing the medal.:T_T: Loss the chance to do some g9 finales, cause of me helping him.

I also lent a friend 100k and an 100% prof. Gladius to get his first ego. He gave me two pure black gladii (<that's the proper plural) and almost re-payed me twice before I reminded him he'd payed... definetly worth it, although I'm still proffing my soon to be ego/230 gladii :P

- Two years ago a girl from my school (we're now friends because of tennis last year) house burned down. Right before christmas too. So i gave her a bunch of nice clothes, nothing torn or old, rather new.

- This winter a car flipped in a ditch by my house. Me and my mom pulled over to make sure no one was in there and called 9-11 just in case. No one was in there.

- Yesterday, the girl who sits next to me passed out. We were standing and playing and she turns to me and says "im going to pass out" so i grab her, put my hand behind her head (since they fall you don't want to head to bounce on the ground) and layed her down carefully. I'm a human catcher now
