Vote on your favorite style of this new feature I will be implementing sometime in the next few days.

This is to display people's in-game information such as: main char's username, server, guild name, character race, primary channel, and total level.

Each piece of info is optional, and will be editable from your settings. If option 1 or 2 is the winner you will also be able to turn it on or off for your own posts, and in the near future you will be able to select which game you want the info to display for (mabi, vindictus, or mabi2 farther down the line).

This vote is for you all to decide how to display this information. Images bellow to illustrate the placement of the info:

Note that with option 3 there will be less control over turning it on or off and selecting which game to display. Mainly because the "bellow avatar" area is already quite crowded.

Also note that choosing 1 or 2 will result in server/char name being moved from under the avatar and into whichever spot wins.

3 will look like a wall-o-text bellow your avatar if you fill out everything.

Where you see my char and server, just imagine a new line for each piece of info: char, server, channel, race & guild.

Doing that would make different people's info appear at different places based on sig size. It won't look uniform across the whole site and therefore not too pleasant. Same reason why I'm not putting an option for people to be able to pick where to put it on an individual basis (which led to this vote).

First option. Don't need to have all that information shoved under the already cluttered (if they have alot of pets/badges) section on the left of the post, and having your information appearing that the top of every post sounds and looks stupid in my opinion. That leaves the first option.

I like option 3, it'll use up the large empty space whenever we post. That way the large empty space will have something in life, and not be a big empty large space with nothing to look forward to. :3

Can there be a option where the user decides how they want to see it? Like in settings choose display 1,2 or 3. Another example would be like back on Guru where you could choose the forum color (For yourself) wheter you wanted it to be the defaulted green, or the old blue o3o.

Last time I and my guildmates attempted to access Player, it was completely offline. We assumed it had just died for good.

I say the first. Personally, if it looks like the MabinogiPlayer style, it looks too out of the way. I actually didn't know the info was there for a good two weeks. In the bottom it would be more noticeable and will look like a psuedo-signature.

IMO, having it above our posts (2) may have people reading our game rank before our post, and make newer player's posts be taken less serious.
And having it shoved under our avatar (3) would be cluttered.

You know, that's not a bad idea. Maybe a spoiler tag instead.

It's not like everyone has to know who you are and where you play or what level you are to have credibility to your post. It's more like "Oh who is this guy? I want to contact him in game one day because s/he's cool. Let me see if he's in my server."

Book idea sounds good, but it means javascript for the box popup, which means longer loading times for pages for many people (depending on browser + system resources).

First option. I don't like the second option at all, really, and the last option will just make short posts have even bigger spaces. @_@

If option 3 gets enough votes regardless of the other results I think I will go with the Cat's idea of a little icon that has an info sheet pop up with all the data. This will make it possible to show all kinds of things about your in-game self and not get in anyone's way. It'll also leave more room in sigs for cooler things like images that are too large and annoy people.

DEFINITELY under the avatar. If it was at the bottom it would interfere with signatures (crowded) and if it was at the top, it would interfere with the above post (crowded).

Use the book idea. Keep it out of the way. I don't really care to know anybody's in-game info. Or Option 1, since I don't look at signatures anyway.

and its customizable for what it looks like

I say option two or three.
Option one I think would just make it look like we all have ridiculously huge signatures.
Since some of us already have rather large signatures.
Option three, though, kinda depends on how it's organized.

Due to the fact that signatures start after the left column ends, it'd be best to stretch the post content itself, so that the entire body of the post isn't stretched even further than it already is.

Looking at Xiya, I honestly think this is a pretty good option. It saves the most space, and no one is really going to complain about its position.

That's what it'll be if 1) option 3 wins or 2) option 3 doesn't win but has had a high enough number of votes.
Cat's book idea is better than all 3 for keeping it neat.

If by description you mean name of the guild, yes. There's not going to be a huge block of text for every person to write an intro for their guild though Dx
