That isn't so bad.
The proportions are pretty good, only the hands really need any serious work, and even then if you make all your hands in that style it won't even matter in a comic or something.

Unlike anime/manga, cartoon style can look like just about anything, as long as it's consistent throughout a piece of work it works out.

What I care about is the thread not being something like, "Hi, I'm _____. I hope I'll have a good time here." "Welcome" "Welcome" "Welcome". Thread dead. I'd rather it be "crowded with conversation outside of the OP" who stopped replying early in the thread.
