I know it'd probably be hard to do/find/whatever, but a forum I used to go to had this feature.
Basically, instead of going to the last post of the thread, it takes you to the first post in the thread that you haven't seen. It's kind of annoying to have to go through 5 pages of a busy thread just to see if anyone replied to what I said.
It's probably too much to ask. I shouldn't even ask anyway. I'm so ungrateful. :T_T:
Sorry.

I actually see this feature quite helpful. I mean if you just skip those 5 pages of conversation the topic might have changed.

Uh, what?
There`s a option for that in your settings. Go find it.

Uh, yeah. I'm not seeing anything that has anything to do with what I'm talking about.

Settings - General Settings- Thread Display Mode - Linear Newest First.
Or it could be that I don`t understand this ._.

You just don't understand. xD
Ok, it's just like the "Go to last post" option, just instead of taking you to the last post, it takes you to the first unread post. The first post that you HAVEN'T read.

Oh, I`m noob Dx. Like the new posts button in the threads themselves?

Wouldn't that be a problem if you posted in a really big thread but wanted to see if someone responds, but ya don't have the time to read all the prev pages?

I don't understand what you're saying.

Lets say you're in the Ban the User Above You. However, you do not read the first 40 pages. You just start 'banning' right away. However, you are away for a few days, and you use the feature. You are taken back to the first page because you did not read that. You forget which page you're on. You end up reading the whole thing.

It does this for me already o.o;
Click on the blue ">>" button and it goes to the last unread post in that thread.

The little v button beside the thread name.
Have been using this since I got here o-o.
Same as guru.
Also on the top of the page, on that light blue bar thing, a little "first unread" beside linkback etc. o-o.

When I click it it goes to whatever is the last post I read, even if it was days ago. So sometimes I click it and end up on page 4 of a 10 page thread.
If you already browsed on the last page of a thread it will count all posts on that page as read though, until someone posts a new one, then it will go to that one.

Still, it doesn't work for me.
Oh well, forget it...

Well, there is a last post button. Maybe that's what she's thinking of.
They both have little arrows, and the last post one has the >> while the first unread has two v's.
