Lol so I was playing S4 League and bossing up the room when my teammate asks if I play Mabinogi. I was like :O yeah! Turns out their on Mari as well so I now have an S4/Mabi buddy outside of MP/Nation (I think, didn't ask)

Reason why they asked me was cause I talked like a Mabinogi person.

The culture in Mabi is really different from other games.
A lot of people using things like "=w=", "owo", "= =" or that "- -" on my hated list.
I use a different set of emotes on mabi from what I used when I was playing other games.

I've never seen o-o o3o :c or :> used outside of Mabinogi.
And I've been playing games online for almost 10 years.

yeah i talk like a mabinogian. i use "k" instead of "thousand" when i talk irl now. ㅠ.ㅠ
and then there are all the other mabi lingos~ mt, c4, cw, flier (verb), sm, soc, etc.
some people in mabi still don't know what im talking about when i use these though. my korean friends thought sm = s&m, soc = social security number.

Don't worry I'm not that old and I get confused with these trends and new games and what not too. Me and my bro enjoy complaining about how popculture went past our heads then think about the good times. :P


I guess i talk like a Mabi player? I talk about strategies and my plans to my girlfriend and other offline mates who play. I haven't been told I do though... I've been told I sound like a professor sometimes or a photoshop obsessee at times. That's about it.

Most emots I have seen on Mabi I have seen previously. I blame MSN chats anime rooms. Really when I see them I just think "Otaku" more so than Mabi player. I only use them because it brushed off on me from my "niece" in game who's 14 and my old MSN chat days. I usually try to avoid using them and stick to the classics ">.<", "o.o", ect.
