You all know I had a lovely man right? Well, maybe....he was 25 and I was 17. He moved away to Wisconsin last year and lost his phone. So I tried to contact him through FB. It didn't work out until he finally answered back. It made me mad, but I didn't care since I thought I still loved him. After that, we didn't talk anymore.
He told me he lost his phone because he couldn't afford it. I thought that was fine since we still had FB....I was wrong. I dunno why, but after awhile, I stopped loving him as much and it soon trickled down to nothing....so here we are. I want to cry and qq and do whatever until my heart falls out. So what if I sound annoying or attention grabbing...you don't realize how much I loved him. I dunno if I can ever love again...well, I kinda love somebody right now...but I'm scared...to tell him...
Can I cry?

Mind elaborating as to why you're hurting so much? I mean, do you feel remorse for falling out of love with him or what..?

Well, All I can say is that we are here for you.
And what ever doesn't kill you will only make you stronger.

I'd have to say remorse....
I feel like I betrayed him....

Mm.
People can't always control their emotions or their desires. You may feel like you betrayed him, but I think it's better this way.. Better than trying to lie to yourself about still loving someone and dragging it on and on. Even if you feel guilty, don't let it make you think less of yourself. You're human.

Yeah....I still hurt.....
If you don't love him anymore, you never truly loved him to begin with. Sorry to say it, but it's the truth. You may have felt love, but it wasn't the right kind of love, thus you falling out of "love."
On a side note, if you love someone else, go all out. I feel sorry for the guy if he still loves you or whatever, but people have their hearts broken all the time. They get over it. PLUS YOUR RELATIONSHIP WAS ILLEGAL ANYWAY.
Really though. If you feel the need to move on, then do so. But from what you posted, I think you need to move on anyway. It's better for your health, both physical and mental.
Best wishes, You. <3

I don't agree with a few of the above points.
You can't say that she didn't love him. If she did, she did. If she didn't, she didn't. Only Xiyamae really knows. And if she says, she did, then I guess we can assume that she at least felt quite strongly for him, which isn't unnatural for someone her age.
It's really easy to fall in love, be a relationship illegal or not. Mind you, relationships are only "illegal" when sex is involved. :P Otherwise, it's perfectly fine. It's also natural to fall out of love. It happens all the times with people. Love doesn't always last forever. :(
And I don't believe in the whole "one true love" idea. People can indeed move past a fantastic boyfriend/fiancee/spouse and find someone after.
ANYWHO.
I'm sorry for your loss, Xiyamae. Can you think about why the relationship didn't work? Distance, perhaps? Or him?
Use this experience to help you in your future relationships. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, like Shadow said. You'll find someone to love ya, someone worth keeping, just keep holding strong! And I know you can do it.
Just keep a head high and don't lower your self-esteem over him. Think about what he lost in leaving you. He's the unfortunate one. You have a right to despise him right now, but always think about the good moments you shared with him. Those moments are worth remembering.
And last, it's okay to cry. Whoever tells you otherwise is an idiot. So cry and cry and cry all you need to.
Feel better, friend.

The illegal part was only a joke. :P I'm pretty sure most people have dated someone older than 18 while still being a minor at some point. Heck, I have.
I agree that she obviously felt quite strongly for him (maybe she did love him...who knows?), but the fact that she doesn't anymore means that there is no reason to keep opening the wound. If she keeps thinking about it without moving on, then she'll never get past it. Yes, Xiya, cry about it, get it all out of your system, then move on. That's the only way to do it. UNLESS you can move to where he went and see if being face to face can rekindle something. But I don't see that happening as you're still 17.
BTW, I actually do know what you're going through. I'm trying to give you some advice based on my experience and advice I've sought from my mom.
