We decided to just do once section focusing on all Life Skills instead of having each Life Skill having it's own section. That way, the section won't die out over time like the Restaurant by the Sea section did. Is it still alright to ask life skill related questions in "Question & Help"?

Don't see why not. I think the Life Skills section is for the discussion of and sharing Life Skill things, like music pieces, tales about training the skill that can be used as discussion fodder (not a rant), and things of that nature. Questions are okay in either the Life Skills section or the Question and Help section, or should be anyways.
