Client.exe refuses to start

I got the hackshield message again... it comes right after I press "Game Start."

The error code is 0x00000206. Uninstalling mods does not work.

I don't understand what happened, since this worked perfectly yesterday, with mods and without. Between then and now I deleted the Mabinogi R73 Installer. I'm pretty sure this doesn't affect the game running.
It's like the game failed just because I lost my chance to reinstall it.
...help please :O

People who usually get that error already have Hackshield running. Go into Task Manager and check. If you can't find it there, a simple restart should solve the problem.

You could also try updating Hackshield via C:/Nexon/Mabinogi/HShield/HSUpdate.exe or C:/Nexon/Mabinogi/HShield/Update/autoup.exe.

I've tried updating already, and I logged off my account and logged back on but didn't restart the computer - I think that should do the same thing though.

had the same problem earlier, downloaded gamebooster after reading a suggestion on nexon forums( cant believe i got help off of nexon forums) and it started right up.
