My pets are named Allegrissimo, Maenam, Cabernet, Boreask, Yggdrasil, Hephaestos, Hasire, Pyroxene, Nosferato and Aetheris.

Typically I name things based on their description (ie: Boreas(k) - Greek God of northern winds; Ice Deer, Aether(is) - "upper sky"; Eagle) or after things that I like (ie: Maenam - Song by Jami Sieber)

If a name that you want is taken, alter it slightly instead of adding numbers or other stupid stuff.

Good: Yggdrasil > Yggdrasill, Yggdrassil
Bad: Yggdrasil > Yggdrasi1, XxYggdrasilxx

Male kitty - Faramier; named after the amazing Faramir from LotR. They're both beautiful men so it was meant to be.
Female kitty - Lucky; named after her Daddy, Lucky Sr.
Other, younger female kitty - Scamper; just because she scampered around everywhere as a kitten.
Oldest male rat - Matthieu; named after Matthew from Hetalia. Why? because they're cyoote and he was shy as a baby.
Black male rat - Schnookums (a.k.a. Ludwig); named Schnookums because he was the most adorable baby rat I had ever seen. Was later given the second name "Ludwig" after the man of the same name from Hetalia because he was the shyer, more reserved of himself and his Bruder.
Grey male rat - Sleepy (a.k.a. Gilbirt); Sleepy because he always slept as a baby. Gilbirt because he acts like like Gilbirt from Hetalia.

My in-game pets are sort of random xD it's mostly all Finnish.

Halika (Siberian Husky) - Tagalog for "come." (As in over here.)

Monogatari (Shire) - "Story" in Japanese.
Ajeno (Bobtail) - Spanish for "foreign."
Yuusen (Mini Bear) - "brave fight" in Japanese
Shirocobo (White Cotton Ostrich) - Shiroi (Japanese for white) + Chocobo = Shirocobo.
Fumeikaku (Light Russian Blue) - Funny story. I was being an indecisive person (which is REALLY hard to counter D: ) and I can't decide between "Josui" (clean water) or "Schezy" (Schezo's pet nickname :P) for my pet cat. Then...I looked up "indecisive" and "fumeikaku" was the Japanese equivalent. So, I decided I name it this, and insult myself at the same time.
Nishikaze (Eagle) - Japanese for "west wind." I keep associating Eagles with the Wind due to their method of flight.
Myoaino (Persian) - Mixed up two words: "ainoko" meaning hybrid and "myou" meaning life. Supposed to convey "hybrid life" since Persians transform.

Hatsuyume (Rainbow Sprite) - "First Dream" in Japanese
