No class is the Life Class?

I was on an alt that hadn't rebirthed for a while and I was using Playing Instrument and noticed the x2 special for being that class. Not sure if this is glitched, or something; clarify, anyone?

Right now all the life skills get x2 exp even with class.

There's something wrong with the Destiny system since the last update, so I've heard.
Every skill says "x2 EXP" on it, regardless of your destiny--even trans skills. The Transformation skills don't actually get x2 EXP, though. qq

I heard they were fixing it this Maintenance but eh who knows?

I thought that might be the reason for the unscheduled maint. tonight, but whatever. Got my ranger elf alt from rF refine to r9 so, eh, at least I did something.... productive.
