It's a lot easier to find an enchanter now, but it's still hard to get a hold of one publicly.

When you see a public enchanter, what rank will you use?
For your cheaper items?
For your valuables?

I tend to go with the highest possible for my more valuable burns ... i got a r1 person last night in dun for 2 fine leathers ... what a deal! Got a victorious ES from the bracelet that i bought for 100k.

My own enchanter is rA so i do all the lower stuff like fox/giant/etc. that i get from drops or cheap buys from player vendors. I do fail a bit, but its not a biggie and im just burning stuff also to keep my inventories from filling up.

I just burn cheaper stuff myself :S
For more expensive stuff like Darkness I use r1 enchanters

If it's several million, then I try to find a r2-r1 enchanter. If it's anything below that, I just burn it myself (r4). In my opinion, it's just not worth troubling them, and I'm just too impatient to wait most the time. XD.

r4 is only 61% or so with rB+ campfire, which is barely over half. D: But I suppose it doesn't matter too much since I rarely need to burn things worth several million gold.

Yea, we actually have several public high rank enchanters. takk is R1 and he does public burning / enchanting completely for free and there's Phorka who's R2 last I checked (he might be R1 by now). And then there's a few other R1'ers that don't do public enchanting that often but do do it every once in a while.

Pretty much in Tarlach it's easy, but players have abused the public enchanters and a lot went private/started charging.
The bigger guilds have 2 - 4 rank 1 enchanters with a handful of rank 5+ so even for cheap items we have pretty good access to their services.
I actually stopped ranking my own enchant skill cause of this. :)

It's actually pretty funny, after the prices on everything rised up there were signs everywhere saying B>Alby es/fb/ar pages 5 - 8k each.
Before that we had about 3 who did public enchanting for a long time to raise the skill, once they hit rank 1 though they sort of disappeared so quite a few people started ranking it themselves, most famous case was Tammie who got from RF - R1 from standing at a mailbox with a sign for two weeks or so lol

r1 enchant only, simply because I have easy access to it, lol.

After you get r1 enchant, the motivation to just stand there to enchant kind of fades away. Some r1 enchanters do still help enchant if you ask them though.

Person must've had a lot of time to camp the mailbox. :shock2:

r5-r1 requires about 9000 enchants, then you add on the rest from rF to r5, and there's also r8 with a couple hundred successful burns. Without counting r8, that's about 11500 enchants and two weeks is 14 days...so 820~ enchants per day? :what:

And that server must have a lot of people willing to spam Alby mindlessly for a couple thousand gold. Sometimes it's difficult to get even 100-200 per day here in Ruairi when offering fair prices. :!!:

Yeah, all I know is I was making 80k or more per Fiodh intermediate run selling her the fb/ar pages, her prices were at 8k per page and 10k per es at one stage I think, something ridiculous like that.

At least Rank 3. Rank 3 isn't that good though. The best would be R2 or R1.
And since my enchant is R2 I won't ask anyone to burn stuff for me anymore. 71% is good enough for me.

Im friends with a rank 1 enchanter but i usually cant be bothered waiting until Enchant day unless I really want it

Mmm I'd definitely go R5+ for stuff that I consider at least partially valuable, i.e. if I ever manage to find an Imp ES XD If you're talking about standard Fox/Kobold combinations, R9+ is fine. =)

PS Intex, burn me some stuff. =D

EDIT: Does anyone know of any R1 or R2 enchanters on Ruairi? Either public or private is fine.

I'm one of the handful rank 5 Enchanters in my server (thanks to Zyrus's guide), and I just burn everything on my own although I do have access to r2 enchanter (soon to be r1).

Burning at 50% or 70% doesn't really make a big difference for me anymore as I already have all the enchants I need.

Just a few days ago I successfully burned Elegant Cylinder and put it on my Wooden Needle to complete my set. (poor attempt to brag a little)
