i already did one as 170. i have one more goddes obsy dag unmodded and an obsy'd unmodded dag (will get goddess after i finish g1 ㅠ.ㅠ) sooooo i was wondering if 170 was best for goddess obsidian?? my other dags im putting other enchants on. my goal is to get the others all wolf hunter fierced. i was thinking for these i should do 190. i never dual wield 2 goddess daggers, so it's always 1 goddess and 1 plain / wolf hunter.

in short:
goddess obsidian dagger [170]
+
wolf hunter-fierce or plain dagger [190]
= good?

im sort of starting to rue doing the 170 though because of the low crit :T after all, the dagger's only strong point is its speed and critical rate, right?? ㅠ.ㅠ im wondering if i should just 190 all of them :T

Have you looked at the 175 path for Daggers? 14-32 damage and 32% crit is pretty good, and those stats are for store bought daggers. That path is on some daggers I got(If you can get a hold of a r1 blacksmith, get some daggers from them, they're 15 dur) and it's pretty nice. If you were to enchant them with goddess/obsidian and use that path and say they're....12 dur rat man drops, which upgraded would give 17-35 damage and about 35% crit. You'd technically have 29-50 damage daggers with 38% crit.

mm it's just me but im not into upgrades that aren't highest anything. that upgrade seems ok but it just seems lukewarm~ i guess my real question should have been: what is more important for good daggers, max damage, or critical rate??

It all depends on the rest of your set, or even better if you can afford both pairs of daggers for different purposes.

FH isn't too often used at higher level play, especially after the introduction of Shadow Missions. Pre-G9 you only needed 60% bare-minimum Critical Rate to grind in Ciar Advanced, and Dagger's full Crit path was overkill if you had a decent set of gears (as 60% is not hard to pull at all).

Also, if you want the highest max damage, Goddess Spike would be a better choice. Currently the best max-damage prefix/suffix for melee weapons, and in upcoming few versions.

I suggest going for max damage modification if you already have high enough Critical Rate to support your FH. Otherwise go for max critical and focus the rest of your equipments for max damage since max damage enchants are relatively easier to get compared to Critical Rate boosting set.

well i dont plan on wasting time / ap's during my stay in mabi raising up herbalism and stuff so spike is not for me. i usually use daggers when i solo sm's ~ i have 3 fox burst knight equips on and fox imp val, fox giant shield, using transcended death title. with that information i should do the critical route?? i think for sm's crits are more important than a little bit higher damage for normal hits. yes??
