The reason why they hate "Friday" and Rebecca Black is because that song is horrible.

This song is better, even if it's in the same category and very cliche.

That Friday song is horrible. This song has some potential.

I'm hating the rapper who raps in every song tho.

To be fair, the music video itself was better, the lyrics were adorable and described teenage love as though it was a first crush, and I personally think she's pretty cute.

The song is still terrible though. And seriously? That rapper? It's like he's trying to get famous by appearing in their videos. It's totally random. And I don't like autotune at all.

When I first saw Alana's video, I didn't know it was an ARK artist, I didn't really pay attention to the video until she started singing.
Then when I found out why it was in the related video pane I was kind of shocked that it sounded so commercial grade yet it was made by the same people who produced "Friday".
Personally I think this song/video and that girl is adorable, I've listened to it la few times >_>
