Server Status anyone?

Well I didn't notice until I tried to log in my alt for the quiz, but the servers cannot be reached according to my comps. Are they down? I was logged in just fine until I logged out to switch characters. Now I'm locked out.

I might not touch mabi now until this stupid event is over the lag increase is horrendous today, i couldn't even do the event it froze instead. Go figure. If it's not too bad afterward I'll maybe attempt to go to physis again.. maybe.

Server's lagging like crazy outside of the Quiz Event. Actions(switching weapons, summoning pets) all take up to 1-5 seconds to do. Guess I'm not Page-hunting today...

If this is because of the rain going on in California, then I will facepalm in Nexon's poor resistance to the elements.

Yeah come to think of it I noticed the lag in shadow missions too. There was no spawn lag but all my actions were getting slowed down. It probably is just server strain. Perhaps it's time to add another one...hint hint.

Yeah that's my guess. Before the maintenance came about a few friends were complaining about the log in servers being down, and if they did log in their characters were either missing or they were the black robe figures. So I'm guessing Nexon is taking mabi down to fix that.

I just came back from Vindictus and wondered why the servers were down...Weren't they going to implent the Bingo thing way later though? I thought they rarely worked on weekends or something.

Perhaps unscheduled server maitenance to either fix hopefully all those failed Quiz Event questions, or taken down to fix something minor or so...I seriously hope they did not crash though.

That's my guess. There was a bunch of people in the Nexon forums complaining about not being able to log in. Here's the thread. (http://forum.nexon.net/Mabinogi/forums/thread/6971971.aspx) So that's probably why Nexon is having maint.

Gee really? They might do maintenance because the servers crashed? No kidding ^^ That's definitely what it's for. I doubt they'll lump the new event in with it though. They'll likely just be taking it down in 3 hours again when they finish.

Wow, Nexon has messed up and for once in a month and a half they're admitting it. (As in when the Rebirth glitch and the Stat glitch happened, they never made any of these announcements regarding either one except making the announcement that they were doing the maintenance to fix it).

One of them dropped a hotdog with ketchup on the server, the other one poured coke on the ketchup stain to wash it off, then the last one came in saw the mess took a leak on the computer smashed it with a hammer then lit it on fire.

However, I'm able to log onto my alts, which probably means that everyone who didn't log out by themselves (aka. just disconnected when maintenance started) is going to crash. That or the event area is bugged.

Edit: Nevermind, I read on the nexon forums that any character who's apparently not in hch will crash. My alt was in hch and I just tried to log onto one that isn't in hch and it crashed too, so yeah.

Okay, I think this crashing problem has to do with mods because I took out the data folder and now it works. Either that or it got magically fixed while I was doing homework. ;o

If you're crashing cause of mods, delete itemdb.xml from your data folder. That's all I'm going to say bout that.
