Lately mabi has been lagging non stop making it almost impossible to play
it's not connection lag
it's that choppy kind of lag when you're standing one place and you try moving and it freezes a bit and then you're totally somewhere else.

any tips?

I've denagel'd btw

Not if you play with me B-)
But, sometimes my mabinogi gets really laggy, too--like once every few months or something. I just reinstall and it's as good as new.

Repair your Internet connection from the Start>Connect To>Show All connections>Support>Repair.

Or you can download Gamebooster and if it's Nexon's lag, then Gamebooster should make it at least a bit better, and if it's oyur own lag, it should have no difference whatsoever.

If you use an adapter or a modem, unplug and replug whatever and see if that works. Mine worked fine after a replug-in.

Also your ISP might be having difficulties or whatever, or someone's taking your bandwidth, anyone else use a shared connection in your house?

I'm pretty sure he's right when he said it's not his internet connection. So that type of advice isn't really related to his problem. :c
It's a client/PC performance issue. Check your CPU and memory utilization using the Task Manager when you lag, and see if it hits 100% or so. I'm guessing it does. :( If so, you probably installed some software that's degrading the performance of your computer, or your computer got infected and such software installed itself. Try checking for malware.
