-I don't know if this should be in the MabinogiTalk section since it's about Mabi but it's not at the same time-
I was reading a bunch of books in-game and on the wiki -i was bored- and it got me really curious about Mabinogi in real life.

For a while now i've known that Tir Chonaill and Dunbarton are real places in life (but i think Tir Chonaill is a dead city that is now some other city) so i googled Tir Chonaill and it came up with a wiki about the Tir Chonaill royal family. I began to google more things and came up with this sweet website: Shee-eire (http://www.shee-eire.com/Shee.htm)
The layout is a little confusing but it's got some nifty info about pretty much everything that you'll find in-game.

Macha didn't really fall in love with a guy and become human so that she could be with him, and she didn't get her heart broken by him, AND she didn't then later throw her pretty self into a lake. Nexon says that for the melodrama :D
She did curse people though. :O
And Morrighan peed to make a river! o-o;;
Morrighan (spelt Morrigan on the website) also had red hair. -tries to imagine- Ew.

Go there if you're really bored, like me :)

This website is pretty interesting, though I don't know what 75% of the stuff is.

Bangor is a city in the US.
Found that out by reading a magazine (had nothing to do with mabinogi)

We've discussed this before. Or at least, about the Welsh mythology represented in the game.

Mmm, really? Sorry, i didn't know.
I simply found the website to be interesting and wanted to let others who may be interested of its existence.
Alot of things in-game are historically incorrect and some may want to know the actual facts.

No harm in that!

What I meant was on guru. And not exactly about this either.

Heck, it all started with me noting Tir Chonail being pronounced in Titanic.

Actually, we already had had a thread about welsh mythology even before that~

It had nothing to do with anything, but it was an Irish mother telling her children a bedtime story as the boat sank. It was so sad...

D:
Sad doesn't click with me.
Anyway, shutting off the computer now, and heading off.
