After careful consideration I have decided to remove this guide and all composition examples. I do not make this decision lightly. I feel at this time in history the increased internet persecution of individuals for copyright violation has warranted my silence. I do this in sorrow and wish you aspiring Mabinogi composers the best of game play.

One last note to those who side with copyright laws. Laws were SUPPOSE to protect ALL the people. The person being persecuted for copyright violation is still a person and should also be protected and not have their peace of mind violated by fines, jail time, "making an example out of them," or imposing one judge's (who was probably bought out) version of justice. That is to say, "a first time warning" is sufficient reproach and anything more is just plain violence by the authorities we were suppose to be turning to for peace. Considering anyone a criminal outside the jurisdiction of murder or molestation to make the court system more money is defined as human greed and the prelude to damnation on earth. Justice was suppose to be an act of love, not another money making scheme.

I've always wondered how people wrote those complicated songs I hear in Mabi. Very helpful- rep for you!

Thanks for the guide. You covered the process at a good pace and the attached images help new composers visualize the process.

That being said, i've been doing just this for quite a while now. Here's an example.

Hi, I was just wondering if I could request a song:

Joe Satriani - Always with me, Always with you

Midi: http://www.cool-midi.com/download/joe_satriani-always_with_you_always_with_me.htm

I'd really appreciate it if you don't mind, thank you in advance xD

I'd like to request some form of the "Ocelot Youth" track from Metal Gear Solid 3:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AP1L0be8HaU

Namely the stuff after 1:10, with the main focus being on the little tune that lasts a few seconds at 1:35. Not sure if you'll be able to find a midi for this, though, so if it's impossible, that's fine.

OCELOT D:

Thank you for offering such a unique service without asking anything in return! It's really kind of you and demonstrated much skills sirs.

EDIT: Noticed another who requested added a midi. Lemme go searching D:<

Eh. If it is not possible to do without a midi, could you do this?

It's the encounter theme from MGS1.

I believe I have a request for you.

I am Kingofsorrow, on the Tarlach Server, and the song that I would like for you to take on is Klonoa 2, Lunatea's Veil: "Hyuponia- Ruins of Sadness."

The game series is little known, but it's music is very lovely. I would very much appreciate seeing it created if possible, Jem. Though...You have moved on to Eden Eternal I see. My hopes that you see this.

The song in itself is far too long. There is a selective part of the piece however that is subject to target, and that starts at about 5:38.
