I was liking Mandrake's (I think he used Nyo on Mabiguru) thread on farming, since we just got that on NA servers, could we please get that continued here? I'll post the results from my pumpkin farm after the old stuff gets reposted.

All crops begin with 40 H20, 30 FERT, and 80 BUG.

Watering takes 20 minutes.
Fertilizing takes 30 minutes.
Removing bugs takes 40 minutes.

Watering adds 5 H20.
Fertilizing adds 7 FERT.
Removing bugs adds 11 BUG.

Pumpkin:
H20 decreases by about 0.37 per hour
FERT decreases by about 0.54 per hour
BUG decreases by about 0.42 per hour

Strawberries, 96 Hours old (+/- 5 mins)

Stat = Base + ( #Aids x Increase ) = Total - Actual = Decrease / Hours = Depreciation Per Hour
Water = 40 + ( 18 x 5 ) = 130 - 81 = 49 / 96 = 0.5105 Water
Fert. = 30 + ( 18 x 7 ) = 166 - 93 = 73 / 96 = 0.7605 Fert.
Bugs = 80 + ( 4 x 11 ) = 124 - 85 = 39 / 96 = 0.4063 Bugs

Also, my farm is currently at 59%. Differences are probably due to Strawberries being more difficult than Pumpkins and having a higher return rate.Pumpkin (again):
Water = 40 + (18*5) = 130 - 77 = 53 / 152 = 0.34868
Fert. = 30 + (17*7) = 149 - 68 = 81 / 152 = 0.53289
Bugs = 80 + (5*11) = 135 - 74 = 61 / 152 = 0.4013

Tomatoes
Water = 40 + (6*5) - 39 = 31 / 160 = 0.19375
Fert. = 30 + (9*7) - 45 = 48 / 160 = 0.3
Bugs = 80 + (5*11) - 73 = 62 / 160 = 0.3875

Harvesting takes 5 hours.

75% yields 42 tomatoes.
98% yields 38 pumpkins.
100% yields 38 pumpkins.
100% plus some more time yields 40 pumpkins.

When selling crops to the NPC, gold may be retrieve as coins or as a check. If retrieved as a check, 5% of the profit is reduced and then rounded down to the nearest 1000 gold.

Selling pumpkins seems to decrease sellback price by about 4 gold.
23 sold, 9397->9295, 102 decrease, 4.43 decrease/unit
1 sold, 9295->9291, 4 decrease, 4 decrease/unit
10 sold, 9340->9298, 42 decrease, 4.2 decrease/unit
Receiving a check:
4 sold, 9298-9283, 15 decrease, 3.75 decreae/unit

Results from my Pumpkin Farm:
Harvesting at 100%, I got 38 Pumpkins. They sold for about 9300 apiece at the time, minus a 5% fee for the check left me with 330K ^^.

Next farm is cabbage, since it seems that not many are doing those.

Harvested my Strawberries at 100% this morning, ended up with 142 of 'em.
Strawberries stack to 100. If you harvest more than 100, you receive a full stack, and then a lesser stack.

Forgot to pay close attention while I was selling them. The price seemed to fluctuate a lot, so I thought it was just randomly decided.

1. Sold enough to fill my 3 gold pouches. Rate = ~2700
2. Sold bulk amount to receive a check. Rate = ~2900.
3. Spent the gold from [1.] and sold the remaining few Strawberries for cash. Rate = ~2600.

Hmm...

Doesn't the price fluctuate depending on how many players are growing and selling the same crop?

Second harvest of Strawberries: 100% = 134 Strawberries.

Sold 97 @ 3,000 ea. Received 280,088 in Check (rounded down to 280k) - Price remained at 3,000
Sold 37 @ 3,000 ea. Received 111,000 in Cash - Price still remained at 3,000 ea.
Waited 5 minutes - Price remained at 3000 ea.

Conclusion - A set number of crops has to be sold before the value decreases.
Interestingly enough, however, Tomatoes were only valued at 3,817 ea, not 4,000.

This was after maintenance when the prices reset, 2:25am.

I believe price will fluctuate dependent on other players selling the same crop within a certain timeframe from your selling.

Judging off of Nyo's first post, I was assuming that the prices change instantly. If this is true, mine should have changed instantly as well, which is what led me to my conclusion/hypothesis. I checked in again right now, 6 hours later, and the price has dropped to 2,595 each. Don't really know what we can draw from that though.
All other crops have risen, with Eggplants and Cabbage being over their starting prices of 4,000 (4,162 and 4,333 respectively). Seems like each crop slowly increases in value at their own designated rates.

Did you try closing the NPC window (end conversation) and try talking to the NPC again? The price won't change if you stay on the same window.

Although, I don't know if it's different for other crops or if a maintenance changed how it works now.

Yea, I did that before and after each transaction.
