Can't start the game, [NGM] ???? ???

When I log into the website and start the game a window pops up that says
[NGM]???? ??? ???? ?????. ?? ?? ?? ???? ??? ????.
When I start the game using the launcher in the game folder, I get to the title screen and try to log in I get a message saying
Authentication failed in the [NGM] server. Please try again later.
I've tried logging into the east and the west server but still get the same result. I would appreciate it if you could help. I've already tried logging in and out of the website, restarting my computer, and restarting my router.

this was happening to me too, im reinstalling to see if it fixes. if it does ill let you know. btw i did clean uninstall meaning i deleted everything pertaining to vindictus.

I feel like reinstalling won't help. I'm having the same problem with other Nexon games such as maplestory, DFO, and mabinogi.

Happened to one of my accounts, I just logged in using the e-mail instead of the user ID and it worked. Same thing every try after, so I just have to use the e-mail when logging in for that account. Saw someone on the Nexon forums say that if you set your e-mail to a new addy, that works too.

Everybody is having this problem is seems, the Tech Support forum on the Nexon forums is flooded with two pages of threads about this error.

Dunno if anybody found a fix.

i had the same problem yesterday, signing in with your email adress instead of your username worked for me

Apparently the problem may happen after usage of the online shop.
Or maybe charging NX.
one of the two.

I got the error after trying to access marketplace. It seems to work when I login using my email address.
