People have no taste buds when they prefer slop over actual food. Like my mom prefers Taco Bell, over Chipotle. Which is weird, IMO.

Fun In-N-Out facts:
- For those not familiar with the chain, they have locations in parts of California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and recently Texas. This is because they're stationed in Southern California and have specialized refrigerated trucks travel to each restaurant. The standard is that, these trucks cannot travel more than a day's drive from distribution. They're limited but it does what they advertise: no freezing anytime.
- The chain has a 465 million dollar revenue which doesn't seem amazing at first but since they only have 258 locations across the five states they serve, each restaurant would have to make almost an average of 2 million to match. Take note that before 2000, they only had 140 locations.
- Though not the best burger award, the chain has received multiple awards maintaining the number one spot in fast food since opening by various magazines and recently voted as one of the healthier chains with their standard, but yet fulfilling, hamburger giving only 10 grams of fat (obvious variance of cooking). For reference, a Big Mac has 30 grams of fat, 10 of which are saturated.
- In-N-Out is the only chain in America who has not changed anything on their menu for 50 years. However, there are plenty of ways to request how to cook your meal.
-The chain mainly uses billboards to advertise and rarely advertise on television. They mostly advertise on radio, if any, merely giving their signature jingle. They actually have very few paid actors on these ads and merely trust on positive acclaim by word of mouth as a big part of their advertisement. As a result, their fame has become infectious.

There's a 5 Guys in my city in California. Myth busted.
There's a ton of these in California now, and they've been around for a few years already. Off-hand I can name about 4 or 5 locations that I've personally passed by.
They seem more common than Taco Bell, which is chased out by Chipotle and Del Taco in California.
I don't see why people judge what a food is made of to determine their "greatness." So what if Taco Bell is slop, if it tastes better then it is better. Unless there is an actual health concern with moderate consumption of the food, there's no reason to knock on it. Delicacies are considered some of the finest foods, and they're possibly the most disgusting things ever.
I almost never go to In-n-Out unless one of my friends is craving it, or I have a friend/relative from out of town who doesn't have one in their area. If I wanted to wait 20 minutes for a "fast food" burger, I'd rather go to a real sit-down place and get a huge luscious burger with real ingredients and unlimited french fries for about the same price. Most sit-downs let you take food to-go anyways.
