How the hell do you make WuKong Work?

This is LoL talk btw. He's really weak early game (even though I went with 9/21/0 plus 3 hp quint runes.You just can't have a strong early game with him, and his ult is rubbish... UTTER rubbish. He has no real CC so to speak, his ult is the only CC and it's cooldown is wayyy to long to put it into account. He isn't tanky despite his passive. The only thing he is good at is run away. It's like he comes out imitating Shaco only much worse at it. At least Shaco can escape effectively and dish out damage, WuKong can do neither.

You can be a tank I'd guess, but otherwise he has no real dps or utility, so all he should do is soak. If he had a heal or a sustain skill, he'd be a lot easier to top lane with, farm with, etc.

I'm never buying him unless Riot buffs him to Yorick status 8D

Supah slow and he has a hard time with it, since he has no heal by default.

I go 0/21/9 Run ArP Reds, Armor Yellows, MR/Level Glyphs, 2x Health Quints 1x ArP Quint. He can't really do much until midgame. Then he is not COMPLETELY worthless. But then Late Game roles around and your just plain trash and might as well just go full tank.

His early game isn't too bad as you think it is, but it's not great either, he had a hard time with any ranged champ other than the champ by the name of Sivir and in mid game and late game, his presence in the game is not very noticeable.

Some people i know that play Monkey King say that it's better to cancel (is this possible?) or hit your enemy with the ending of his ult as you can get auto attacks in and it benefits the team more since you can focus down a champ rather than doing mediocre AoE damage.

For runes, go Armor pen marks (his Q is bugged as it only reduced the BASE armor so armor pen marks are MANDATORY), Choice yellows, Half and half flat and per level magic resist and Armor pen or HP quints.

Yeah it's better to cancel (you can, just hit R again) for me all ult does it knock up, afterward I would either W for escape because lots of ppl are now on me, or Q E for chase when they are running away.
