I haven't played Ocarina of Time in awhile, I don't recall any non-solid floors in Majora's Mask. I'm already in the Valley too.

I don't think they were in Majora's Mask, they were most likely in Orcania of Time, I don't remember much though, been a while since I played Zelda at all. I always thought Zelda was the dude until a couple of months ago.
