A sealed scroll is basicly a lock to be put on an equiped item. Basicly, you can't sell, trade, or drop the item that the scroll is used on to prevent unauthorised theft and junking of prized items.

You can lock an item for 1 day, 1 week, or 1 month, it's a good idea to lock anything personalised as hackers can drop them in the middle of nowhere out of spite, or synth them for no reason. It's also a good idea to lock any rare item that's valued above 500k, or any item that has a rare enchant on it such as Vine dexterity helmets, or anything that gives a large number of stats.

So basicly, protect your prized crap before a hacker eventualy gets into Nexon's database and steals everything we own.

Actually, this was implemented long ago on the other servers.

It is smart to have extra security, and at the player's choice - this could have also protected items from disappearing forever before they upgraded the Lost & Found.

Yes, yes. That they could, that they could.

Either way, this could be helpful as they can't profit from your items. Only thing they can really do is screw you over at Ferghus.

However, I have too many expensive items and stuff on my pets anyways so it won't really help me. I can protect my best gear but that's just about it. I can't protect both my mage sets AND my melee set.

In short, if I get hacked I'm ****ed anyways.

It's helpful if you only have a few rare items that you can all hold in your inventory.

I don't have room for my Hebona Set, Mana Reduct Set, All my robes (all dyed my favorite green btw), Several Premium Card Outfits (All dyed green). Also I have 60+ pets to begin with.

Hacker deletes all my pets, steals all my items and It's all gameover.

They can indeed be stored in your Bank, but you cannot transfer them between characters.

I would assume so.

It'd be my chars, and my pets. And my ego hammer.

Then you can use seal scrolls! ;D

IMO I think the prices are a little steep, but cheaper than if you lost the item itself...

Frankly, I think putting a delete option for characters and pets was a stupid move to begin with. Why would any normal person want to delete their character?

It's not like you can screw up their stats or anything except for messing up your skills or something.

Even then, the game is flexible enough that you can easily change which skills you want to rank albeit at the cost of some lost progress.

Yeah that is a good reason due to what Hamsium said. However I wonder if they will change it... Id hope not since it's only temporary (30 days at most) and would give hackers a way to kill your stuff. Also blessings/using nao is still good for less dura loss...

It's good that it prevents hackers, but people still can do the damage through the Delete function on the Character Window, if they were able to get after the Delete Enabled.
At least it actually gives some time and doesn't instant delete pets and characters.

Permanent of these scrolls would be nice, but if they did charge something for the permanent, doesn't it feel like you have to pay to not get your items stolen or whatsoever if you get hacked?
The 30 days amount lasts long enough for someone to be able to accumulate enough money to buy another, so this is a good anti-hack measure. x]
