Actually there was an update. There was one file added, named 12_to_13.dat which is... Empty.

EU's updates strategy was... bizarre. They got Chapter 2 and 3 in one patch, no? That's an insanely massive amount of content to release at once, which is typically bad strategy since the players will blow through it quicker and then have nothing to do. Makes me wonder why they chose to do this--maybe there were some serious management issues ongoing at the time, that haven't been resolved yet.

They were hoping that catching up to NA would make people play it.

G4-G6 at once I can understand but comeon...I knew nothing good could come out of G1-G12 in practically one go.

We took it nice and slow which was great. Gave me time to do all the content and really get myself grounded and not feel rushed.

Still don't get why EU Mabi did that.

i have been reading NA´s ragethreads just for the lols. :smoke2: EU´s situation is just too much beyound ridiculous for me to even care. (and in general whining about how crappy game is doing is pretty dumb imo, if you dont like it leave it.)

At first, everyone was being jealous of the fact that they got all these generations in one, long patch, and it felt like a huge jump compared to NA...Now look at this timer.

And I'm even surprised that there was a even worse than NA branch...Now that's a prime example of no one even feeling like they manage the game anymore. No wonder most of the EU players went to NA.

In terms of player base? No, there are still a lot of people who play there from what I've heard...I visited their forums and they're making their own events.
Maintenance wise...pretty much.

dunno about G1-3 because i could start playing when we were in G3 because of *cough* comp issues...(aka no comp at all) but it was G4-11 and then soon after G12 separately.

U remember wrong. We get g7-g11 on september then g12 like 1-2 months later.

Then all right up to march Owl Event that 1 jerk from Macha messed up to the point staff closed the event and give us raindow as compensation.
And that was their last sign of life until some weeks ago when the server crashed, all the ppl sent inquiry and they replied that they will do something to give back our stuff.

Some day later another crash, another mass inquiry that are still in progress... we not even get some reply from them.
