I don't know what to do.

:gloom: My parents, who are very negative people, get upset alot when I decline them for help in just about everything. Sure, they want to be a part of my life, sure they maaaay care... But whenever they try to intervene in something such as helping me with homework, they end up insulting me, or treating me as if I don't know my ass from a hole in the ground even though I was doing alright before they came in and starting dictating me and nitpicking every flaw of my mortal existance. Most of the time they don't help, they tell me stuff I already know and they purposly make everything into an arguement and I can't concentrate with them around, or eat because they insult and/or tell me off for just living in the same space as them.

So ummm.. How do I deal with them? Because it's really stressfull putting up with them and I often get jealous of other kids because they have such nice parents... :gloom3:

Try and talk to them; tell them that you understand their rights to an opinion and that yes, they are your parents, but they have no right to treat you like anything but a fellow human being and their child.

If they refuse or become ignorant, then they need to lrn2growup.

Run away from your house as soon as possible get a little job and a small rent somewhere and TRY to do your studies and keep a no-life life.
