A rather angry rant about G9 Elatha RP

Why. Of all days to make a day-restricted RP it has to be Tuesday. Let me list everything wrong with this.

-Anyone who goes to school, like me, will probably have issues getting serious time in except for Saturday and Sunday (when most RPs are).
-Even if they do get time in it will have to be at night.
-Maintenance is always on Tuesdays, usually starting at 10:00 PST.

At this rate I’ll be happy if my elf even manages to get to that stage in G9 in the next year.

The absurdly long wait times for G9 quests is not helping this situation.

They should've gotten rid of the day requirement for that. I recall that they got rid of G11's (or G10's, I forget) day requirement for one mission in attempt to make it easier.

In fact when I ran it on my human, I don't remember Berched saying Baltane (though I do tend to miss stuff when I read anything).

that RP is kinda easy, takes like 20-30 mins to finish, maybe even less (cant remember the lenght of the dungeon). Elatha quite strong for that dungeon

The RP's fine and easy but the timing is ridiculous.

I remember back when I had the stomach flu really bad I slept all day and woke up about an hour before the maint. due to some complications it took me half an hour to even be ABLE to play Mabinogi and was trying to rush through the dungeon so I didn't have to wait until next tuesday.

I finished right as the little "600sec 'til disconnection" popped up. Stressed me out, man.

I'm sure you'll be able to make it. As long as you can start an hour~35 minutes before maint. I'm sure you'll be fine.

I think my issue is getting the G9 Quests of Doom done AND the RP.
Not to mention my poor neglected giant...orz

My guildies helped me with all the non-solo parts and it was a breeze. I'm sure unless the community 'round there is total rubbish, you'll find some nice people to help.

There were a lot of people who I didn't even have to ask for help-- they just joined the party and said lets go.

On Tarlach there are a lot of nice people (not as many as Mari due to a smaller population), but it takes longer to recruit.

I guess trying advertising for it ahead of time (you know, before you intend on actually doing the mission) and see if that helps recruit more people?

I did. I got some awesome people to volunteer in casw they're not afk.
