Not really, asexual means "without sex". Either this means you don't have any sexual characteristica (well, yo do), or you don't procreate sexually (you do though, just with yourself in this scenario).

If both parts needed to procreate are made inside of 1 body, does that actually count as sexual procreation though? It would be more or less how a single cell organism creates, instead of splitting apart you just give birth when you are ready.

At that point, would it even be considered "male and female gametes." since it is 1 body.

Yeah, I guess the genetical source would be identical. But it's still two different kind of cells forming into one, instead of just one cell splitting into two.

Maybe we could call it quasisexual.

In hermaphroditism, the individual very rarely "mates" with him/herself. They still seek out mates and have sex. And I have several very wonderful and enlightening video clips of this, if you're curious.

When a hermaphrodite produces offspring without mating, it is called parthenogenesis, and it is asexual. (And the offspring are clones.)

However, hermaphroditic species only resort to parthenogenesis under extreme conditions, such as being the last living individual within several hundred miles. Otherwise, they prefer to mate. Also, the hermaphrodite is not able to impregnate him/herself by mixing his/her eggs and sperm. They are not viable.
