Pages: ~950

Cost:
Parchment Paper - ~$70
Leather - ~$30
Glue, Ribbon, and bits - ~$30

I started 3 years ago, then realised I needed a colour laser printer to do it properly. I got one recently. I spent a week or two formatting the text and deciding on layouts and running test prints, and then two weeks on the book construction.

If I did it again, I would use PVA instead of contact glue for the external leather glueing, because the contact glue has left the front cover a little bumpy. I also would have printed a map for the inside front cover and the Gray Fox wanted poster for the inside back cover.

If anyone is interested, the OpenOffice document is here (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BH6FDKNX)

(manually edited table of contents, A4 suitable for scaling to A5 booklet, Australian spelling, no orphan/widow typography control)

Now I'm excited to see the reaction of the guy who wrote the in-game books (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/General:Ted_Peterson) once they tell them :whisper:

Does this include the DLCs such as Shivering Isles? :v

I managed to cram in all the Shivering Isles books too. The cost came to around $70 for the parchment paper, $30 for the leather, $30 for glues and ribbons and bits.

Yes, it does.

That's dedication right there, I'm surprised it didn't cost more (otehr than the numerous hours into printing)

I want this now, since I have a liking to reading in-game books - but it's a work of love, so no copies :ghost:

Hmmm... interesting. Now to do with the whole elder scrolls series.

Looks interesting though I rather keep it digital.
I just started playing oblivion in anticipation of skyrim D:
The oblivion graphics grossed me out so I installed a trillion mods though.

Did you try the Estrus mod?

I got a bunch D: not sure it gets much better.
I mostly stopped playing anyways, I'm sure the game was awesome in it's time, or if I had played it before Fallout, but going from fallout with extreme graphics mods and then to oblivion (even with graphics mods) just hurts my eyes, and also the game system feels poorly developed compared to Fallout (especially new vegas, I don't even touch FO3 anymore since NV), which makes sense since it came before it.

So fallout has spoiled me and only skyrim can take its place now.

Oh god. I'd pay an absurd amount of money for this. It'd be like.. a coffee table book. When I'm all posh and wearing my monocle, I can invite people over for fancy coffee, so they can inquire about my leatherbound book.

"Mmyes, quite a collection... -sips coffee, adjusts monocle-"
