I've been replaying Oblivion to get my mind in the right place.

Pretty much only Dark Brotherhood and Shivering Isles, can't help but love them.

I am so excited... I haven't played anything that got me hooked for a while. November is a great month for games :D Minecraft 1.9 and Skyrim are the two games I'm super excited for.

Yes, I believe they also showed a video of Skyrim where the guy read this letter with a Black Hand printed on it.

As for Skyrim, my computer cannot run it, so my hopes are down low.

I been looking forward to it for a while, ever since I saw that half hour gameplay video.

The game seems graphically awesome, and it was on a 360 in that demo gameplay, I imagine on my PC it has the potential to look even more awesome, especially with mods that will eventually come out for it.

I got myself Oblivion just to get into the play-style of this game, but unfortunately even with many gigs of graphic enhancing mods it doesn't look too great, nowhere near Fallout3/NV quality so I have trouble getting into it. Gameplay is awesome though, just hurts my eyes.


The only thing I worry for is mods. I know bethesda is extremely pro-mod, and even have tools available to mod oblivion and fallout, but I hope they release them ASAP for skyrim because I tend to get bored of vanilla gameplay within 1 or 2 weeks max. I can play the same game for years if it has mods though (FO3).

Well, there's Christmas, but I'm really excited about it.

I was considering pre-ordering it on steam but what's the point of pre-ordering digital media that gives you a lame TF2 hat, when I really hate TF2.
Apparently steam pre-orders don't get the fancy map anyways.

Me too all I want is the map, but I only buy games from steam, and even then only FO3, NV, Oblivion and soon Skyrim. I don't want to get a box and DVDs. I want my media digital. They could just mail me a map or something but I doubt that would happen, so too bad for them, not pre-ordering and if I really want the map I'll get the PDF and have it professionally printed. Also, not worth 60$ to pre-order on steam, at that price I'll pirate it first and wait for a steam sale or price drop.

If I can get both FO3, NV and Oblivion GotY for 60$ today, I'm not gonna pay the price of 3 games, which in my opinion are individually on par with skyrim when it comes to quality of entertainment.

If price doesn't drop after launch I'm paying piratebay a visit on november 12th.
