What is this:
This is me being bored and making a journal/rp of a fantasy land Gavinor. So enjoy my boredom and my blad stories, or face mah wrath/rage/anger/that stuff.

Preface: It is the year 1635 anno colonus. The powerful kingdom of Liiria regins over much of the known world Anuevil. Many of the smaller kingdoms have been devoured, ether by politics or by the generations of wars bearing over the land. The gods have favored Liiria, allowing the knigdom to flourish while others faultered.

Liiria's current ruler is King Desmaurk the III. Unlike most of Liiria's previous ruler's, King Desmaurk the III rules with a gentle fist. His kindness and generousity is legendery in Anuevil. However, the King has a younger brother, the legendary Lord Mjoshua, hero of Liiria. Lord Mjoshua has fought in many wars, and has kept Liiria safe. He, like his brother, also holds a large heart for his people. He is an incredible warrior, and one of the most gifted magicians of all Anuevil. However blessed Lord Mjoshua is, he is cursed to never inherit the throne.

Under such a cruel fate, Lord Mjoshua has asked permission from his older brother, the King, to allow him to explore the vast unexplored lands of Anuevil, and craft before himself, his own kingdom. King Desmaurk the III accepted Lord Mjoshua's request. This is the story ofd Lord Mjoshua... as he crafts his kingdom, Gavinor.

Journal Entry #1
August 18, 1635 anno colonus,
Me and my men have been gone from Liiria for 3 days now. We left the Royal Manor, with nothing more than my loyal servents, royal guards and a handful of commoners who wished to start anew. We sailed on the ship, Nesmaie, across many rivers and oceans. We've have passed all civilzation, and have come to an empty land, hard and cruel to us. The Nesmaie however, failed to survive. It sunk in the lands cruel rivers and rapids. After much searching I have decided a place for our first colonization.

We have set up tents as a temporily shelter from the harsh weather of these lands. I chose a spot for the Royal manor, which will be my housing until a proper castle can be built.

We shall start the manor's construction at the brisk of tomorrows twilight. Oh how I miss my brother already.

Journal Entry #2
August 25, 1635 anno colonus,
The men and i have been hard at work these past days. We despertly needed supplies for both the construction of the manor, and for ourselves. We discovered a rock quarry, rich of stone, coal and other resources simply across one ofthe short mountains. It is rich of rescoures and near a desert and spring. We quickly made due of the little wood we had left to build a small quarry headquarters.

While the scouts were looking arround for resources in the area, they also found a small junction of coal nearby. Along with antural growing reeds that will defintely aid in our colonization of this land.

The production of the manor itself has been slow, as we must craft out each brick at be layed. It is a boring and tedious system. A few ramparts were made so the builders could reach the higher levels of the building.

Hopefully soon we will have a true shelter to live in, as this weather has become quite dreary to both the morale of my men, and my own heart.

And trust me, no creepers here :D

Journal Entry #3
September 10, 1635 anno colonus,
A lot of things have happened since my last entry in this rugged book of ine. To begin, we finally built a pathway between the quarry and the manor. This was helpful in keeping the children from getting lost, since many wished to help us in the construction, yet they were constantly confused in which direction the quarry was to the manor.http://i1181.photobucket.com/albums/x428/Joshua_Mercier/Minecraft%20Stuff/2011-10-13_091034.png
As we were constructing the manor, we ran into a serious issue. We had a lack of food supplies. I immedietly ordered a halt of construction until proper food services were rendered. A small lake behind our land helped us greatly in finding food. I ordered a small dock to be built, so fishing on the lake could be more efficient.

A few of the commoners also had an idea. They still had remaining seeds from the initial trip, and under my permission, they quickly made a small melon and pumpkin garden.

We also had a shortage of wood, a serious issue, since we use wood not only for the construction, but also for cooking, heating and plain out surviving. Scouts reported mostly empty fields nearby, and no close remote locations of a forest. I decided to test out a druidic spell that I learned. It allowed me to make a small patch of trees, that grow at an astounishing rate. While this is only a temporily fix, it shall do for now.

And then, there is the manor. We finally completed it yet it took us a lot of hard work.

And finally, my quarters for the time being. Though I won't complain, it beats sleeping in that dreary tent.

With all of these accomplishments done, hopefully we can start constructing more useful structures in the immediete future.
