And it tasted so good.

Just took a ball of lettuce, ripped it apart, chopped a tomato up, cut up some bacon, sprinkled some cheddar cheese, and poured a bit of ranch on it.

And blah blah blah dressing this dressing that. I like balsamic vinegar too, but thats more for like... spinach salads... not lettuce with cheese bacon and tomatoes. Oh, and Asian Sesame dressing is fantastic too, for a more oriental taste in salad.

So simple, easy, and delicious! Those of you who don't feel as if you're getting enough vegetables in your diet should definitely try this.

I have a weird way with ranch, in the sense I can't pour too much, or too little.

If I pour too much, the entire salad is disgusting.
If I pour too little, there's no flavor.

I figured out that I need exactly 2.3 tablespoons of ranch for one standard serving of salad.

Oh, and I don't add cheese.

I tend to do something like...

romaine lettuce
sliced boiled egg
grilled chicken / fajita chicken / fried chicken / crab
+ croutons
+ bacon bits
+ diced tomato / cherry tomatoes
+ mushrooms
ranch with bacon

Love it.

All of this.

But I can't afford to...

Well, its not that I can't afford it. Its that I can't eat it all by myself fast enough before all the ingredients expire, since they always sell everything in bulk. And then if I try to buy them separately, then its too expensive.

I need someone to share my food with :D

Ah well, I find that romaine lettuce lasts for an entire month without a problem, as does the ranch, croutons and chicken. For the chicken, you can just do a small amount (from one of those big cheap bags) and keep the rest frozen, so that could easily last over a month.

The only real problem thing are the mushrooms (not a problem if you sauté them), tomatoes (these ruin rather quickly unfortunately, though more slowly if refrigerated), and eggs. Eggs can last the entire month without any real problem in the fridge. They'll only last really like ~3 days to a week or so once boiled though. So, only do what you need.

I'm actually like this way too, the ranch have to be poured in a specific amount, or else, the salad won't taste good to me.
