Why would you go all the way to mcdonalds to shell out money for these things when you can make them at home?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/KitaeK27/Photo0098.jpg

What I used:

Wheat Bread (because white is fattening and unhealthy! I'd toast it but I don't have a toaster)
Egg (fried)
Bacon
Turkey Ham (put it on the pan for a short time to give it a slightly cooked external texture, boosts the flavor and really helps the cheese melt)
Cheese

And I put some ketchup on it but thats really up to you.

IT TASTES AMAZING. SO I HAD TWO.

AND THE YOLK STARTED TO DRIP ON MY HANDS SO I LICKED THE GOOEY LIQUID OFF IT OFF REAL SEXY.

So why no lettuce or tomatos? Oh wait, Ketchup

I usually like mine with mayo, but that's because I really don't get fat even if I eat a lot
If it's breakfast sandwich, it's not too bad to slap on a few pieces of bacon on there too, you know?

Well, it takes longer this way, but it'll give you the nutrients you need to fight off practically everything until lunchtime. Also, it's really delicious.

Look at my post DX

There is bacon on it. Two slices each actually.

No lettuce because its a breakfast sandwich D:

Though I think with mayo I could use thinly chopped lettuce. Just ripping out big pieces feels inappropriate for this type of sammich.

I actually don't do over easy egg sandwiches after much experiment. What I'll do is scramble them together in a bowl then put them in a small pan for a few seconds until they start to harden then flip, leave for a few seconds and then they're done. I'll leave them still a little soggy and not fully formed, but not gooey to the touch really. I find that it tastes really similar to an over easy egg, except without the mess.

:awesome:

The cat's master prefers rice when mixing eggs and ketchup
also, biscuits are superior to bread

I wish I could afford to buy biscuits.

I will never get married to someone who hates mayonnaise.

But no, I don't have mayonnaise :/

I can't eat eggs like that for some reason. Any dish that involves egg "directly", for example your sandwich, any kind of fried/boiled/scrambled egg, or egg in some kind of salad, I just can't. Hate the taste of egg. Makes me puke. Same for ketchup for some reason.

I do something similar to that though, bacon, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and sometimes ham (fried up in a pan a bit).
Sometimes I'll even bake one of those hashbrown patties and stick it in there.
A complete breakfast in sandwich form.

Too bad I only have time to make it on weekends.

That looks tasty!
Except your yolk story reminded me of this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXyEitADwHo).
And you misspelled sammich (norly, you did. It should be sandwich).

I did quite different way... I cook the egg in a patty-like form, and I also make sure the yolk is fully cooked, because I really hate runny yolks. :U

I also used English muffin breads instead of wheat breads for sandwich. No ketchup or mayo or any sauces on it.

You could toast the bread on a frying pan or over the burner.

I hate washing the pan after frying eggs and bacon, so I just use lettuce and presliced turkey from the deli, with tomatoes and margarine or mayo. I also put in a fried egg if my mom made those that morning/previous night.

That's lunch though. I bring breakfast to school and it's usually just a pastry.

Reminds me of some of the Breakfast Sandwitches my siblings made at home.

Bagel + Eggs + Ketchup + Cheese melted on. So good! Of course Bacon would make it even better. I wonder what the best way to make bacon is. :what:

My foods teacher says it's possibly dangerous to eat the yoke when it's not fully cooked!

Food teacher is wrong!

Its possibly dangerous to eat the white when not fully cooked. The yolk is safe. There is a 1 in 30000 chance of having samonella in the yolk, but then then chances of dying like that is worse than the chance of getting struck by thunder. The chance of having harmful bacteria in your yolk is less likely than you getting something harmful out of most other foods.

Egg yolks are safe to eat raw, unless that honest to god nearly impossible chance is something that really scares you. I mean, you're more likely to slip and fall and smash your head on nothing, and dying that way.

The WHITE is whats dangerous uncooked. First of all, the white is mostly just fillers. The nutrition are mostly in the yolk. Secondly, there are enzymes called avidin in the white when uncooked that serves as an ANTI-nutrition. Cook the whites, go ahead and have yellow however you like.

I like half-cooking it so its slightly gooey. Works very nicely in ramen when you get scoop up that prize ball of egg yolk and sip it with the soup, and the yolk chews in your mouth but with the full flavor in tact.

Me too. I don't really listen to her. The way she talks pisses me off for one.

"Sugah", "Vaniller". All the fun pronouncing.

And yeah, I always use the yoke on my eggs to dip my sausages in. (When I have them for breakfast)

Looks good; I'd rather have white bread though. Or just change it to an english muffin and basically mimic a Egg McMuffin. Annnnd hold the ketchup for me. Only like those on my scrambled eggs, by themselves.

On the subject of eggs, remember that people used to get a partly cooked egg, meaning the white is cooked, and would dip toast into it. I don't remember what it's called, but it was pretty darn good.

You know whats good, is when you take an egg, mix it up (yolk and white), then dip things like fish or sushi rolls in them, and fry it.
