Welcome to the first annual Mabination Halloween Event!

For the next week, we're going to have all sorts of contests going with prizes awarded to the winners of each.

Think you're one badass pumpkin carver? PM us your pictures and compete against other Nationers to see who really is the very best, like no one ever was!

Contest Details
What: Carve a pumpkin into a jack-o'-lantern and send us a picture.
How: Upload the picture to any popular image host (Minus, Photobucket, Imageshack, etc.), and PM TA (http://mabination.com/members/2494-TA) the picture. Please make the subject: "Entry: Jack-o'-lantern Carving Contest"
Submission Deadline: October 31st
Rules: One entry per Nationer. Public posting of entry will result in disqualification. Voting will be organized by staff and made public on the November 1st and will be kept anonymous to prevent any kind of favoritism or voting for friends.

Rewards
- 1st place will receive a custom pet and 30,000 nation gold.

I'm on a meal plan, so I was given $250 for this semester. I'm not charging my bank, it's financial aid. So yeah, it's still pricey and you seem to think that my dorm has a fridge big enough to actually put food into it. It barely fits milk in it. My dorm halls oven and stove has been broken so I can't use that. TV dinners? Still don't require actual silverware and definitely not enough space for my than two of those. I use plastic silverware, Kitae, like I said before.

So yeah, I can say I don't have money for a knife or a pumpkin, because I really honestly don't. The money I am going to be spending to get both, is all that I'll be able to spend until December and that's to see if maybe carving the damn thing will make me feel less like I want to slit my wrists. I'm beyond stressed, and I really shouldn't have to debate with you on what I can and can't afford.

Because firefox has this amazing tool that searches images on the internet.

I found out making lines of holes on the pumpkin works well when you need to carve a design into its "face". Use a giant pin to do so.

I think you guys are blowing my comment way out of proportion... :what:

I think you're taking it to be some sort of blood thirsty smear, when in reality it was just an unfortunately misunderstood set of replies explaining why I personally wouldn't choose Skye as a winner in that competition. Personally, minus myself, I probably would have went with... Zid, Navy, Schezo, Medusa, Nanachi, BobYoMeowMeow, or Kingofrunes. Zid or Navy... those would be my top picks I think. Anyways, totally unimportant. That's just my personal opinion.

You guys are going to have to be patient while we decide what to do with it at this point. There's a few options at this point, that I see...

- Call the whole av/sig contest off completely.
- If it can be discerned where all the poll manipulation came from, remove those votes, and either just end it right then and there or extend the voting for however many hours. (Hiccup voted for Skye 4 times that we know of. Not sure of anything else until an Admin can check it.)
- Remove Skye and myself and repost the vote.
- Disqualify Skye and myself and award 3rd place the spot of winner - Nanachi.
- Trim it down to 5-10 and repost it.
- Have an internal staff vote to decide who wins.

Those are the only options I can think of right now, but I'm tired. There may be other options I'm not thinking of. In the end, it's going to be up to our Admins.

Just be patient. We'll let you know what's going on when we're sure of it ourselves.
