There's a dog park right down the road that I haven't taken my dog to yet
so I let her go and she's playing with a poodle playing tug o' war
while I sit on the bench watching her talking to some lady

then out of no where some bald guy with a pink scarf holding a tea cup chihuahua comes up to me and taps me hard on the shoulder .. it hurt ):<

him: "SCUSE' ME. *points to my dog* Is that thing over there yours?"

me: "Yes.."

him: "It must be a terrible life for someone who can't read *points to dog park rules sign*
NUMBER 6."

No pit bulls allowed

The lady and I look at each other and then look at him and start laughing

my dog Maggie is a black lab/boarder collie mix

me: "Your dog must have a terrible life if it's owner is stupid, my dog's a lab/collie mix, not a pit"

him: "I was an intern at a vet, I know more about dogs than you ever could, take your mutt and leave or I'm calling animal control"

me: "do it, they'll tell you you're wrong"

him: "Fine."

he walks over by the tree and pulls out his phone
about 10 minutes later the animal control shows up and they all come over to me and he explains

they started laughing their balls off at him
told him he needs to take he dog home because it's too small to be there and it's in danger and gave him a $50 fine for falsely reporting me

:point::point:

I lost it at this "some bald guy with a pink scarf holding a tea cup chihuahua"

From that point on I couldn't take anything that guy was going to say seriously without branding him as some pompous idiot.

LOL oh this made me laugh so hard but the stupidity of the guy makes me want to get his scarf and strangle him.

They're considered violent due to all the negative assumptions given to the people thanks to the media.

From what I understand (never had a pit bull personally) they are fairly nice dogs, except when idiots train them to fight. :/

They are nice dogs people always get the idea they are some sort of vicious beasts that will try to attack you.

Can't say how cute pit bulls look when they're puppies it's adorable.

Pit bull puppies are indeed adorable.
My neighbors have one. I LOVE HIM. Too bad they forget he's even there and he has to stay outside.

I owned a pip bull once, then I took an arrow in the *shot*

I don't like them, they are like a hybrid of a canine and a dwarf.

That guy is a moron.

Makes me sad that they have a "No Pit Bulls" rule though, they're probably the sweetest dogs around. They just get a bad name thanks to moronic assholes.

it's all dependent on how they are raised
they're no more dangerous than any other medium/large dog
and if it's about training, the only dogs that are allowed in there anyway are trained dogs with all of their shots

Male poodles (can be) worse, (the full size ones; not the toy breeds) I don't mean by training them to fight either, I mean naturally. At age 7 the top-of-the-line-master-show-dog ones can get this mental thing. It's called Alpha Male Syndrome or something. Basically its where the dog tries to become the alpha, or die trying. The issue is that the pack includes every living thing nearby, it's not to kill either, he just wanted everyone else to submit.

We had a poodle like that. He bit me, and my mom. Then he got into the neighbors yard and bit their dachshund (as in actually drawing blood and everything), then shortly after while my parents are apologizing he kills our cat in the kitchen, and my dad ended up having to suffocate the dog (to make it unconscious) to make him let go of the cat. Then my parents take both to the vet. The cat had to be put down, and my dad had to hold the dog so the vet could properly put him down, as the dog would have bit anyone else.

Meanwhile I'm in (grade) school. Came home and Meeko (the dog) and Miss Kitty (the cat) were dead. D:
